CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

(Poster and Oral Presentations)

Deadline for receipt of abstracts is April 13, 2012

NOTE:  You need not be a member of TSS to participate in the poster presentations.

Abstracts of short papers of original scientific research are being solicited from undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral and new industrial researchers for poster presentations for the TSS Annual Meeting in Miniature.  Cash prizes will be awarded for outstanding presentations in appropriate categories.

Send abstracts by e-mail to andrew.marinucci@verizon.net.  Abstract length should not exceed 2500 characters (including title, authors and affiliations).  Abstracts may be attached to word processing files (Word, WordPerfect or other popular formats).  Please do not send desktop publishing files or PDFs (a PDF may accompany the word processor file for reference).  Use standard Windows symbols when special characters are needed.  Also accepted, but subject to editor's formatting, are abstracts directly pasted into the e-mail.  Hard copy (paper) abstracts may also be submitted by mailing to the editor:

NOTE:  Posters are to be pre-mounted on a rigid base as the society only provides display easels.  Indicate on the paper the presenter (use an asterisk).  Indicate category of presenter (undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral, or industrial).
