TJ Social Studies Department

The Social Studies department is involved in teaching students to enjoy and understand diversity and how diversity has enriched our country. Our activities are used to promote critical thinking while expanding the student's knoweldge of geography and history. It is our goal to prepare our students to be better prepared and to be useful, productive and happy citizens in the future of our country and the world. Events that our department have and will sponsor include: The National Geography Bee UN Day Mock Trial Traveling the Oregon Trail Ethnic Food Festivals
