has Barbara Burgess in their genealogy. I have entered
what I know, Barbara is my great-grandmother and I would
like to know more about her. My grandmother is her
daughter Edith Barbara and my mother is Rosina Barbara
Pruden (nee Rice-Devereaux Adams). My mother came to
Canada from England as a War Bride.

Barbara Burgess was born in England. She married Henry
Jarvis in England. Henry Jarvis is the son of Thomas
Jarvis and Harriet Lavender. All born in and died in
England. Barbara Burgess is buried in the Warbleton
Church Cemetary. I believe this Church to be located in
Rushlake Green. Children of Barbara and Henry are: Edith
Barbara Jarvis, b. July9, 1896, Dairy House Farm,
Warbleton, England; d. Sept. 29, 1947, Princess Alice
Hospital, England. Edgar Jarvis b. 1908, England. Leanne

Researching Thomas Burgess, b. Nov 1837 in/round Davenham.
Lived with grandparents in 1841 and 1851 Census' (Thomas
Burgess and Elizabeth (maybe Worrell)). There residence
with Mere Heath, near Davenham. Thomas moved to Liverpool
with his grandmother and several siblings between 1851 and
1861. He married Emily Jacks and they moved to Pittsburg,
Pa, USA.

I've checked all churches in/round Davenham. There was on
Thomas baptised to an Ann Burgess of Davenham within a few
weeks of my Thomas' birthdate.

If that was my Thomas, he would have been a bastard. Looks
like several other Burgess' baptised to the same Anne
(always listed as Spinster).

I've copied down birth info on many Burgess in/round
Davenhame if anyone needs.

Hi, Am searching for my grandmother Ella Burgess/Mitchell.
Was told that Ella was born in the year 1888 around the
Adair/Vinita area in Oklahoma Indian Territory. I have
several more links to investigate but am tired of running
into brick walls, plus it gives me one heck of a headache.
I do not have a lot of info, but here is what I do have:
Ella married a Bill/William Mitchell, do not know where,
they had son that died in wwII, son Harvey Mitchell, my
father, son Jack Mitchell, and daughter Betty Mitchell.
Ella and grandpa Mitchell both died while living in Pryor
Okla. Grandpa Mitchell was buried, I think in Boatman, ok.
I know that my father was buried there. I do not know my

I am seeking information on a Ronald Duane Burgess who
married Carole Ruth Robinson on 02/11/1963 in Gainesville
TX. A divorce petition was later filed in Oklahoma City OK
on 02/20/1963. According to my birth certificate, Ronald

grandfather Patrick Kelly. He came from Ireland approx.1865.
He and his family established themselves in Havde Gras
Maryland. He was working on a bridge in Maryland and fell

Sanilac abt 1845 with the William Austin family. Both
families move throughout Michigan together. Thomas marries
Nancy Garner, he dies in Civil War, children, Rosa,
Sylvania. Nancy later marries Carr, her sister Mary's
widower. Later moves to Kansas I believe. Mary Catherine,
my Great Great Grandmother, marries Jedediah Austin. They
migrate to Washington.

Questions: Parentage of John C Burgess and wife Hannah.
Where is Hannah buried?? John C is buried in KS. What

Looking for Edwin Burgess & Johanna Mahar(Meagher?) in Nova
Scotia. Supposedly they are the parents of my great
grandfather, Ora Burgess, who was born October 1859 in
Woodville NS. I can't find them on any census. I do find
Ora on the 1870 NS census in Lakeville, Cornwallis
Township, Kings County. He is listed with Leverett Bligh
and his wife, who I know to be business partners of William
and Bernard Burgess. Johanna may have been from the
Mirimichi area.

I am looking for information on the Burgess Family who were

Burgess was the father I believe.
Daniel Obediah Burgess married Addie Dickerson, She was my
grandfather's sister.Addie and Daniel Obediah were married
in 1904. Addie died in 1911, leaving four children,Carrie

1911. Annie Mae married Berdie Dean Fergeson. Annie died in

Im trying to located a Mr. Montgomery Lee Burgess. Who
served with the US Army I know that he was from Alabama
area. He went By Montey for short could be spelled Montey
or Monte not sure of the exact spelling. He would have been
