I'm search the family of Hezikiah Burgess, Stephen Burgess,
Jr, Steven Burgess. They settled in an area known as Riddle
or Old Trap, NC Time frame from. There was also a Thomas
Burgess. THe time span is from the late 1600's to 1823.
Hezikiah was born in 1823. I would appreciate any

My closest Burgess ancestor is my maternal grandmother,
Doreen Burgess (b.1909). Her father was William Burgess
(b.1877 at Combmartin). He was a son of Michael Burgess (b.
1835 at Combmartin) who was, in turn, the son of Richard
Burgess (b. 1795 at Combmartin). All of the Combmartin, or
Coombe Martin, Burgess family members appear to be
descendents from the same line. I would be interested in
speaking to anyone who has the slightest inkling that they
may be related to this family. All of my Burgess family
were Masons.

Correction to last querry. My great grandfather's name is
Ira Joseph Burgess, not Benjamin. His wife was Hattie
Flowers.
There may also be a John L. Burgess, either gggrandfather
or ggggrandfather, not sure of which.

George Bancroft Burgess b. 1882, Joseph Burgess, Mary Ellen
Burgess b. 1883. (Belived they were born in Altrincham)
Joseph married and had a family in Aylesbury, believe he had
around 11 children. George settled in Altrincham and had 7
children he died in Altrincham, unsure about Mary Ellen.

Believe there father was a plasterer, and quite renowned in
England. He might of been married to a Pimlott and they came
from the north end of England and/or possibly Scotland. Is
anyone working on this line or come across George, Joseph or
Mary-Ellen's parents. I'm at a stand still.

Mary Ann BURGESS: I'm looking for a Mary Ann Burgess who
married James William Richard THOMAS August 16, 1875 in
Camberwell (Croydon) Surrey, England. This marriage
record (shown in the British Vital Records Index #2 at the
FHL) is the first mention I have of Mary. This marriage
record also shows her age as 25 and her father as Charles
BURGESS. This same BVRI doesn't show a birth or baptism
for Mary so this is as far back as I've been able to go.

In 1880census/Walton Co. he is living with Mother,Amanda(?)
and stepfather, Berry W Partin(Partain). Mother's maiden
name may be Williams. Stepfather was born in Paulding Co.

My great, great, great grandfather was Hugh Burgess, a
farmer in Scotland, who was married to Elizabeth Bryden. I
know this from the death certificate of their son, Robert
Burgess who was a coal miner in the Dalmellington region of
Scotland. So far I've had no luck with any information on
either Hugh Burgess or Elizabeth Bryden. I think it's
possible they may have even come from Ireland to Scotland.
Any help would be appreciated. Hugh would have been born in
the late 1700s

one child Lena May Burgess. She would have been born in
