Sarah Jane Burgess married Samuel Ellis Orcutt on March 24th, 1878 at the Burgess farm in MO. Sarah's father's name was Thomas Burgess and he was born about 1819 and he married Evaline. Thomas was from TN supposedly and Evaline was from MO. Well that's all the information I have. Can anyone help? Please?? Pretty Please???

Information I have is that my family is buried in Holy Family in Hudson County New Jersey The names were Charles, Ellen O'Neill/Rapp Sara Decker/Sticht

My grandfather Charles M. Jones was son of Eliza J. Burgess and William Andrew Jones. Wmilliam and Eliza wed in Wells County Indiana. My grandfather was born in Mt. Piler In. William and Eliza went to Kansas where she died in 1877. Eliza was the daughter of Gabriel Burgess and Charity Strait (Ohio) Gabriel was the son of Elizabeth Twigs and Richard Burgess Jr. Richard Burgess Jr. was the son of Mary Gassaway and Richard Burgess Sr.

I have the children of Richard Burgess Jr. and Elizabeth Twiggs but not all of their spouses or dates of all marriages or deaths. My line of Burgess' came to Gore, Hocking County Ohio from Allegany County Maryland and than to Wells County Indiana. My direct line went to McPherson County Kansas.

I am desperately trying to find out my Grandparents names
and since I did not know my father except by name really it
has proved difficult in finding out who my grandparents
were. My father George K Fullam sr was one of seven
brothers and sister and my leads have led me to kings
county as his origins and if so a census may show him as a
child in a household and reveal who the grandparents were.
I had less trouble tracing my mothers birth parents even
though she as adopted. Can anyone helpme with this quest I
cannot really spend what ancestry gets for the info. Does
anyone have the kings county census info and if so can that
someone look to see if a George K Fullam is there. Here are
the Brothers and sisters name if it helps. David Fullam,
James Fullam, Thomas Fullam, Eddie Fullam, Jack Fullam,
Thomas Fullam, Joseph Fullam. The sister was named Betty.

William Burgess (possibly H. for middle name) was born
1810 in Massachusettes. He married Elizabeth Wing from New
York. Somewhere between 1810 and 1843, William arrived in
Wisconsin. He had at least one child, Charles W. Burgess
born 1843 in Palmyra, Wisconsin.

Patterson Burgess married Elizabeth Tutwiler Dec.7,1853
Patterson born Feb.21,1825, died April 2, 1912 buried in
Mt. Crawford cemetary.,E. Tutwiler born Feb. 28,1834, died
April 15, 1901 also buried in Mt. Crawford. They had
at least 7 children, Martha A, James S., John Wm.,Turner,

My husband's ggrandfather was Austin W. Burgess. He is
listed in the 1900 Haywood Co. Census born in TN. In the
1880 Haywood Co., NC Census he is b in NC. He died between
after 1900 & before 1910. His last child was born in 1905.
His widow Sarah Catherine Quinn Burgess is in the 1910
Gaston Co., NC Census. I do not know where he died & when.
Anyone with suggestions on where to look for Austin.
