YES

Tell The Moon
Go Tell The Marchers
We Have Heaven...

Yes? Once in a Blue Moon? Think about it, when is the last time you heard a Yes song on the radio. If you did it was either Roundabout or I've Seen All Good People . There is so much great Yes music you really must dig out some of your old albums and rediscover them. My ultimate double play would be Starship Trooper and Heart of the Sunrise. Two songs that must be played together are We Have Heaven and South Side Of The Sky. I dug out an old tape a month ago with The Yes Album and Fragile on it and it hasn't been out of my tape deck yet.

Some History

Yes is a progressive rock supergroup which brought element of classical, rock, and folk music together like, do I dare say, no other. Yes formed in 1968 with the original members Jon Anderson (vocals), Tony Kaye (keyboards), Chris Squire (bass) Bill Bruford (drums) and Pete Banks (guitar). The first two albums, Yes (1969) and Time And A Word (1970) had little impact on the music scene. In 1971 Steve Howe (guitar) replaced Banks and The Yes Album was released. This marked their first appearance on the US charts. Later Rick Wakeman ( keyboards) replaced Kaye and Fragile was released in 1972. The band went through some other changes and released more albums like Tales From Topographic Oceans and Going For The One. To find out more about Yes visit The Yes Museum
