I'm compiling a list of codes, tips, and tricks for home systems. The full file isn't finished yet, but should be this month.
Here's a little sampling of what's available so far.

In some versions of DOOM, try pressing -IDDT in map mode while playing a DM game...

Version 1.1 and below:
Try setting up a network game with 3 players with the following parameters
doom -net 3 -left

then set the 'left' and 'right' monitors up next to your middle monitor, in a sort of VR configuration, so when you turn your head, you see the screen at 90 degrees...
Doom II
ALMOST ALL of the cheats for DOOM work in DOOM 2.
Paramaters that mean something:
-turbo 250
Like in DOOM, you type these while playing.
IDFA This cheat gives you all the ammo, 200% armor, and no keys.
IDMUS## This cheat changes the music in Doom II. Where ## is a 2
digit code indicating a song number. A list of the numerical values
for all the Doom II songs follows.

Level 15: IDCLIP and just walk straight. You'll hit a neat warp pentagram soon.
Level 30: IDCLIP yourself straight thru the demon's head. Shoot the programmer's head on the severed stick to kill the last man. It screams.

CONSOLE GAMES:
Batman Returns - Sega CD
This is a level select code. Go to the Options screen and set the Game type to
Driving. Next hold the control pad left + press the B button. Continue this
process all the way down to Number 7. Now Starting with 6 work your way back to Number
1. If entered correctly you should hear a chime. Now you can set the game to
your desire and begin. Anytime during play you can Pause the game and press
the C Button to clear the level.
X-Men - Genesis
Here's a way tobuy extra time for getting power-ups in the Danger Room. When
You get inside it, go to the top-right part pf the screen. in that corner you
will see a peice of machinery. Get onto the platform just below and to the
left. Then Jump, Kick or puch and it will explode. Hurry, you've got an extra
minute to recharge yourself!
Tazmania - Game Gear
There is a way to get an extra life in the First World. Before your huge leap across
the giant pitat the end of World 1. Stop and wait for the boulder. Jump out
and let the boulder fall below, then pull back and land of the left edge.
Be careful not to hit the ceiling. Now go to the left and get the heart
icon for an extra life.
