The Soapbox: Rants and Commentary: Freedom of Whitney Houston Composed by Mike O'Leary (oleary@pegasus.montclair.edu) Some Hard Copy / Enquirer / Entertainment Tonight show had a commercial about tabloids and stars, and they show Whitney Houston who says, "Freedom of the press sucks, period." Now if she were to say that freedom of the press shouldn't outweigh her personal rights, or that freedom of the press needs to be pulled back? Fine. I don't want to get all J. Edgar, but if she's not willing to stand up for a basic human right, then I want some of the benefits she got because of those rights (i.e. $) Mike O'Leary Gravity is my housekeeper.
