All county Science Faire winner of 1995 for his ground-breaking work in the rapidly emerging field of interstellar telepathy, "Jim" (as his friends call him) is known far and wide for his cheerful demeanor and good grooming habits.

While some naysayers doubt his claims of extraterrestrial encounters of the mental kind, a small but fanatical group subscribes to his self-published monthly newsletter "Dare to Think Beyond Your Horizons"--- a call to all to attempt telepathic contact with like-minded enthusiasts in other galaxies.

Thanks to local media coverage and the untiring publicity efforts of his mentor and science teacher, Erstwhile Tunesmith, our otherwise unassuming "Jim" has achieved the type of local notoriety previously enjoyed only by football quarterbacks and girls with "loose" morals.

After completing his high school education, Jimmy hopes to lead a small but loyal band of fellow free thinkers in search of the parallel small town known as "Earth".
